We were greeted by the boss, who was simply odious. There were a lot of us and we didn't have reservations. He had room but told us loudly so they could hear that those behind us in line wouldn't be happy given the number of us. Honestly, it's anything but our problem ;) He didn't even say goodbye to us when we left, great! On the other hand, the server was adorable and patient.
The food was good, be careful they charge €7 extra if you only take one starter (it's indicated on the menu so no surprises) even though it is ridiculously small!

Typical place in Alsace very satisfied
Not great waiter with a stupid face.
The sauerkraut was OK but bland with just one potato, the spaetzel was good with the meat and its sauce, but also it would be better to make an effort for the quantity and for the beer we ask for a 33cl it comes with a 50cl so more expensive .

What a disappointment!
For the fifteenth time I went to the Christmas market yesterday with friends 4 adults 4 children 10/7/6/6 years old.
For me, Georges' counter was THE restaurant!
Knowing that it is impossible to find a table for eight we had of course reserved for 2 p.m. but on arrival no reservation!
The necessary things were done and we were able to settle in.
The waitress doesn't take anything in writing but only came back 5 times (with a pad and a pencil she would have saved a lot of time)
We order:
- Only one children's menu (15€)
- three entrances
- 6 dishes
And then we are told that a dish is missing and that we will have an extra €7 to pay!
One of the little ones chose a veal escalope which she couldn't eat because there was so much pepper!
I had a beef fillet with morel sauce
The meat was excellent and the morel sauce was an insult to this mushroom!
A cream sauce with 2 (not 3) morels who were wondering what they were doing there!
I had praised this restaurant to my friends and was very uncomfortable!
Needless to say, we didn’t have dessert and paid the bill to the penny!

We ate very well, the fakes were very good and the sauerkraut was delicious and very generous afterward it was impossible to eat a dessert, the service was good the boss is lucky to have a dedicated and responsive team even if I found the service a little long between starter and main course. If I put one star less it's only because the man at the reception was a little stressed which undermined the atmosphere a little but we all have days with and without.

Midi du 14 juillet, rdv un peu avant 12h afin d'être sur d'avoir une table. Et sur la terrasse.
De la bonne viande au menu, souris d'agneau, steack tartare, ou le porc au caramel.
Honnêteté pour le dessert, le baba au rhum n'est pas fait maison. Mais par un artisan.

Accueil plus que moyen. Malgré une réservation précisant ne pas vouloir manger en terrasse par mauvais temps, nous avons quand même été placés en terrasse. Aucun intérêt puisque le temps n'était pas de la partie, nous étions enfermés sous les parasols pour éviter les gouttes de pluie. Donc aucune vue, de plus terrasse très bruyante puisque adjacente au module extérieur de l'airco. Bref, que des inconvénients. Ensuite que dire sur les plats choisis? En entrée, une mini-tranche de terrine (fond du plat) accompagnée de 3 feuilles de salade, une assiette de crudités (carotte, chou-rave et chou rouge) sans aucune saveur, sans assaisonnement. En plat, un tartare coupé au couteau à la minute?? Il semblait plus être haché machine et copieusement mélangé à une sauce sucrée. L'entrecôte était assez fine et donc pas vraiment saignante, servie tiède, impossible de faire fondre le beurre maître d'hôtel. Les pdt rissolées qui accompagnent le plat sont très très grasses et rissolées trop longuement! Bref, l'expérience n'était pas concluante malgré l'apparence. De plus, au moins une table de 2 couverts est restée libre en intérieur jusqu'à notre départ... de quoi nous convaincre, s'il le fallait encore, de ne pas y retourner.
