The staff were all very friendly. The ambiance is nice, but the tables are extremely close together. A few less would be more relaxing. The food was average; the coffee is not recommended.

In one of Montpellier's most beautiful squares you can order from a well-chosen wine list, and also order snacks and meals. Friendly staff. I had the tuna tataki which feels better value than in a sushi restaurant. The 100% carignan red wine is excellent and available by the glass.

An ideal spot under the trees, a lovely, quiet place, a warm welcome, and a good selection of dishes. The perfect place for our reunion and a happy moment. It was a wonderful time. Thank you.

Le Comptoir de l’Arc was definitely our go-to spot, my boyfriend and I. For a while, we went there almost every weeknight, but also for lunch, afternoon drinks, or even breakfast. And whenever someone came to visit me in Montpellier, it was practically a must: I'd take them there! I've literally tried everything on the menu and I've never been disappointed. The tapas are varied and excellent, the menu changes with the seasons, and everything is truly delicious. Special mention goes to the Caesar salad, a real favorite, and for me, the Pornstar remains THE cocktail to order there. Beyond the food, what really makes the difference is the atmosphere and the staff. The teams have changed over time, but we've always received a super warm welcome. Even late at night, the servers take the time to let us know before the kitchen closes to make sure we have everything we need. These are small touches, but when you come so often, they mean a lot. We spent evenings, lunches, afternoons there… Going to Le Comptoir eventually became an activity in itself and a real little ritual. We've since moved from Montpellier, but every time we're back, we find a good excuse to return. In short, lots of memories here, and above all, a place I'll continue to recommend without hesitation!

This is my go-to spot for a drink (especially their elderflower lemonade: a delight!) on Montpellier's most beautiful square, in the shade of the trees. Very friendly service and atmosphere.
