Le Comptoir des Négociants sur Ax-Les-Thermes

A pleasant discovery, warm, friendly and above all very very good.

On the way back from vacation, we stopped at this establishment. A warm brasserie, with seats inside but also on the terrace. Brasserie cuisine, simple, hearty, and very good. The salad at the counter was very generous! The burger counter also, toasted bread with good homemade fries and excellent meat and cheese inside. A little disappointed, however, by the dessert of the day, the tarte tatin which arrived cold and without any crunch (no puff pastry or crunchy biscuits at the bottom), too bad. The staff is smiling, pleasant, efficient. The boss is friendly and asks you if you have eaten well and thanks you and greets you when you leave, which is nice. It’s a good address on Ax!

Very pleasant hosts 😎, a beef cheek (delicious) as well as a lime camembert a treat, to finish the salted butter caramel tarte tatin 😊 congratulations to the cook 👍

The place is nice. Tartiflette not cooked. We ate inside and the techno or even drum'n bass music was much too loud for eating as a family with 3 children.

Very friendly brasserie in the heart of the village

Saturday, we took a snack break, the pancake was reheated, crunchy, not up to standard. 3/5 anyway because the other times for lunch the dishes were good.

Old-fashioned kindness, smiles, this place has remained in the same spirit that I knew as a teenager... for my taste, too bad a facelift would have pleasantly pleased me!!!
