Quality French cuisine, fast service, friendly employees, and above all excellent wines, all right in front of the entrance to the abbey: I recommend, you can go there with your eyes closed!

Top-notch hospitality and cuisine! Bravo for the warm atmosphere, the vinyls of Christophe and Michel Delpech 😉 and the good cuisine in song please! I recommend !

Repas savoureux dans une ambiance agréable. La cuisine est traditionnelle et les prix sont tout à fait corrects. La musique diffusée est une sélection maison tirée d'une discothèque vinile de qualité. Pour les amateurs de vins un grand choix est proposé.

We had lunch there this afternoon and had a great time in a typical vintage atmosphere listening to vinyls. The kitchen is amazing, the owner and the waiter are very attentive to very good advice. Thank you again for this good time. I recommend 1000%

A Saturday lunchtime. After 1 p.m., the owner warmly welcomed us. Top notch atmosphere. Simple, quality and inexpensive cuisine. Exceptional wine list. Efficient and friendly service. We will come back.

16/12/2024: Un lieu chargé d'histoire, de paix et d'inspiration. Une carte de saison avec beaucoup de créativité du début à la fin. La carte des vins exploite particulièrement les richesses régionales mais sait aller chercher la créativité ailleurs aussi. Service aimable et souriant. Très bon moment !
13/12/2024: la salle est très originale et respectant l'architecture de l'abbaye. nous avons pris le menu 51eme lune avec 7 saveurs. tout était délicieux et le sommelier nous a fait découvrir les vins locaux accompagnant à merveille les plats. Le service est discret, efficace et très professionnel. le seul bemol à été le dessert que nous avons peu apprécié trop sucré et gélatineux.

16/09/2024: Warm welcome, perfect and friendly service. Short menu, home cooking and everything was excellent!
30/08/2024: Showing up at 7:30 p.m. with my wife without prior reservation, we were immediately warmly welcomed and directed to one of the rooms to choose our table. The geography of the restaurant, made up of several rooms, ensures a calm atmosphere despite the crowds. The dishes are tasty, copious and beautifully prepared, then served quickly by a friendly team who work together in the interest of the customer, the most experienced servers not hesitating to advise beginners with kindness. In summary, a very pleasant experience, which I can only recommend to those who pass through Fontevraud!
