After suffering various misfortunes, this sleeping beauty has emerged from its slumber thanks to a takeover orchestrated by a Lyon-based group with extensive experience in luxury hotels. Like a flagship flying the Art Deco flag, this palace has happily moored itself in the lagoon's inlet of this upscale neighborhood in the suburbs of Annecy, challenging its counterpart on the opposite shore. This challenge has been more than met thanks to the Belle Époque architecture, rescued from oblivion, whose centerpiece is the exceptional monumental staircase. Its "tongue of a kiss" extends from the roller door at the palace's entrance to the water's edge. The exquisite and inspired interior restoration places the entire establishment in a cultural balance between tradition and refined modernism. Perhaps a more distinctive style in the furniture selection would have added to the magic of the place. The service is on par with the finest establishments, as are the products used. The glass-enclosed rotunda of the dining room offers an immersive experience, drawing you into a backdrop of natural scenery subtly enhanced by a touch of authentic architectural elegance. 10/02/2026: The place is magnificent; the charm of the old building has been preserved or recreated. The staff are attentive and kind. The view and the proximity to the lake allow you to relax and fully enjoy yourself, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
