An exceptional location right on the lake. Delicious food (the signature burger is to die for) at reasonable prices. And a fantastic waitstaff! Professional, friendly, and attentive to their guests... Our favorite restaurant of our stay in Langres!

Beautiful spot with a view over the lake

The staff were absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. Beautiful view of the lake and a small playground nearby (in the sun) for children. Really, really great!

Once seated, we had to wait a while before being served. The blonde waitress didn't smile once and sighed when I asked her to wipe down the table we'd been told to sit at. This table had just been used for the previous service, and she simply wanted to put it back in its place without cleaning it. She also refused to pour me a carafe of water, claiming that she couldn't do so without her tablet. All the servers were overwhelmed, it was over 35°C (95°F), and I was with my 83-year-old mother. I found this attitude particularly regrettable under the circumstances. She also broke some dishes but only picked up some of the pieces. As for the meal, several ingredients were missing from the Nordic salad: cucumber and red onions. The crème brûlée, meanwhile, had far too much sugar on it, which wasn't even caramelized. The Langres toasts were lacking in cheese, but the smoked ham was generously portioned. A Suze, listed at €4, was also charged to me at €5.90, with the explanation that their tablet didn't have a button for Suze or a €4 button. On the other hand, the dark-haired waitress was genuinely pleasant and smiling. No compensation was offered for the missing ingredients in the salad. The €1.90 difference was eventually refunded to me in cash, and I put that amount in the tip jar. I find this version more effective because it remains factual while clearly highlighting the problems encountered.

As a family, we had lunch here on Friday, August 7th. We arrived at noon. We received a very warm welcome and were seated by the water. We enjoyed the delicious fries cooked in beef fat that accompanied our meal. The various ice creams were the perfect ending to our meal. A very pleasant experience that we will repeat before the end of the summer. It would be helpful to have an additional server...
