A lovely restaurant offering superb, fresh, local, seasonal produce, all homemade. They also have daily specials! The service is excellent, quick, and friendly. It's best to book in advance :) I highly recommend it!

Le Couvert is a restaurant serving local cuisine. Simple and delicious cuisine that will satisfy gourmets and gourmands alike. The staff and owner are very friendly and full of anecdotes. This restaurant has been open for over 100 years and holds a true place in the history of Sélestat. And I forgot, the prices are affordable for everyone.

18/03/2026: We came to Auberge de la Paix to celebrate my birthday and everything was perfect! The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. There were seven of us and everyone loved it, no one was disappointed. A wonderful discovery, we will gladly return! 👍
