In the heart of Milly-la-Forêt, this small restaurant, Le Cygne, will delight both young and old. First, we'll look at the dishes, then the decor and service, and finally, a conclusion. However, we won't be discussing the bar and hotel. We ordered two main courses and two desserts, which were very good, but in my opinion, not quite up to the standard of the previous menu. The meat was cooked rare as requested, and the portions were reasonable, but I would have liked a third small side dish. A small, light appetizer was offered. Good desserts. The decor and staff are decent, with a full but not noisy dining room. Note: there's a terrace. The service was pleasant and fairly quick. Friendly staff, attentive to requests. Conclusion: A bit pricey for what you get, but not excessive. "Le Cygne" restaurant is perfectly adequate for business or social meals, but it doesn't seem to live up to the excellent restaurant it used to be. "Cool, but hey, there are better places, man."
