Friendly, smiling staff who listen to the customer. Always a kind word, even when it's busy.

The steak tartare is excellent!
It's actually the house specialty.
We finished the meal perfectly with profiteroles made with fresh cabbage, delicious ice cream, and a wonderful chocolate sauce.
All served with impeccable service.
Well done and thank you.

A very pleasant place, truly friendly and welcoming staff, and extraordinary food.
We showed up without a reservation and were still greeted.
Honestly, I highly recommend it!
Thank you!

We often eat at Le Danube when we're in Challans!
We always eat very well there, whether it's the mussels or the other dishes on the menu!
The desserts are excellent and very well presented!
The staff is also very friendly and the service is efficient!

After strolling through the market, we were looking for a small, affordable restaurant. The Danube was packed. They found us a table. We had a delicious meal. Okay, we didn't manage to get the secret to one of the sauces 🤣🤣 but it gave us a chance to chat with the staff in a very friendly way. So, a very good meal. Nice atmosphere. And a reasonable bill. What more could you ask for?!
