We went to Le Dauphin on its first night after reopening. New management, but the same success: the food is still excellent, the service is top-notch—in short, all the ingredients for a great evening are still there.
I highly recommend it, and we'll be back!

We discovered this charming restaurant and its new team last night.
The setting is superb, the atmosphere cozy and welcoming... we felt right at home.
Special mention goes to the two young waitresses: welcoming, friendly, smiling, attentive, and very caring towards the customers.
The cuisine was refined and elegant. We wish them every success and will definitely return whenever we're in Pau.

A truly beautiful establishment; the new team has maintained the quality that made this restaurant a Pau institution.
The food is excellent, and the value for money is superb.
The welcome is warm, and the staff are friendly and professional.

Beware, there's been a change of ownership. The cuisine is similar, but lacks the finesse and delicacy of the previous dishes. The menu is strangely reminiscent of the old offerings, but doesn't match the quality and flavor of the food. A shame. Hopefully, things will improve over time. The price-quality ratio is unsuitable.

We had eaten at this restaurant before and enjoyed it, but this Valentine's Day menu wasn't really up to par… The food was rushed (we felt hurried, even though I had asked them to slow down a bit between courses), the dishes weren't what you'd expect from a €60 per person Valentine's Day menu (and the dessert wasn't even what was advertised), the main course was very salty (I know it was seafood, but it was really very salty!), and no one even said goodbye after we paid! I would have liked to share my opinion then… We'll come back because we don't like to end on a negative note 😌 but it was disappointing this time.

✨ An unforgettable gastronomic experience in Pau ✨ The Dauphin restaurant, located in the beautiful village of Pau, is simply spectacular. A luxurious setting with refined cuisine and impeccable service. As I am allergic to seafood, the team was extremely attentive and professional: they gave me excellent advice and took great care of every detail to ensure I felt safe and completely at ease. My partner was able to enjoy the seafood and was delighted. The duck breast, recommended by the restaurant, was exceptional: flavor, texture, and presentation worthy of a fine dining establishment. And the desserts… wordsless, a true delight. It was my first visit to this restaurant, but certainly not the last. Both the set menus and the à la carte options are excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients and delicately prepared cuisine. A highly recommended address for those seeking a unique gastronomic experience in a magnificent setting. 🌟 We will be back very soon 🌟
