Fantastic impromptu dinner, super friendly staff, huge portions, come hungry! 😅

My sweetheart and I came for Valentine's Day and it was great! The meal was excellent and reasonably priced, especially for students like us. Then at 9 pm there was a rugby match, so the atmosphere was fantastic. I highly recommend it!

Delicious duck breast and excellent French toast. The dish was very well prepared, and the dessert was served with fruit and a scoop of ice cream. The bread was also excellent. A true professional who delights his guests. Well done! I highly recommend it.

Great welcome and very good food

Passing through Clermont, I walked past Le Dérailleur and decided to stop for lunch. Great idea! A set menu of main course and dessert for €18 included a truly delicious goulash (it was the daily special, but there are other options on the menu) and a superb chocolate mousse. No complaints whatsoever. The owner is really friendly. My only regret is not having a beer (I don't drink at lunchtime) because they had a nice selection on tap (I'm a beer lover). I'll have to go back one evening and enjoy a few pints. In any case, you can go there without hesitation.

A lively bar/brasserie where you're always warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and convivial... The food is excellent, and the owner is a gem. So don't hesitate to come and enjoy a beer, share a platter, or try something else from the menu for a great evening.

Friendly welcome and service! The beef was a generous and high-quality cut...homemade fries, perfect!! No bread, salt, or pepper on the table. The speculoos tiramisu was sickeningly sweet and way too sugary!!! Good value for money! I'll be back.

Update: I've tasted the food! The truffle was succulent, the meat was delicious, and the desserts were simple yet satisfying!! I haven't tried the food yet (but I will soon!), but I can tell you about the service, which was very efficient, and especially about the owner, who is lovely and passionate! You can tell he's put his heart and soul into taking over this legendary Clermont establishment, and he's succeeded! The decor is fantastic, beautiful, original (the props! 👏), and well thought out. There are free games (darts and board games). They organize themed evenings. They're open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and, for now, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. And do we even need to mention the stunning view of the Puy-de-Dôme? 🤩 A place to (re)discover!!
