A hidden gem near the train station, offering a €22 lunch menu with generous and delicious portions. I've only eaten there one evening; the menu is a bit more expensive then, but the quality is definitely there. I highly recommend it.

French cuisine. The place is cozy. We were seated in the basement. Everyone helps themselves to a bottle from the cellar. The food is good, well-prepared, but I got a little lost in the many different flavors of the dishes.

Passing through Rennes, we didn't know where to go, and what a pleasant surprise it was! This restaurant, while not easy to find at first glance, more than makes up for it in every other aspect. Despite a small team (one person in the dining room and one in the kitchen), it delivered everything you could expect from a quality restaurant. Firstly, the menu (two starters, two main courses, and two desserts) allowed us to savor not only high-quality cuisine but also fresh, seasonal ingredients. Secondly, with an owner who is both professional and efficient, the service, which combined kindness and good humor, means that we will not only return but highly recommend it. Simple and effective. Certainly unknown to many Rennes residents, I truly loved the home-style cooking at this restaurant. The basement dining room is unique. The staff is very friendly. Everything you need to make me want to come back.
