Overall, a good experience, thanks to solid cuisine and a very pleasant setting. The deliberately concise menu inspires confidence: it gives the impression of a carefully curated selection, consistent with the level expected in an establishment run by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France).
On the plate, the dishes were good value for money, with some real highlights. The French toast deserves special mention: probably one of the best I've ever tasted, by far. The lamb parcels were also interesting, although their presentation, in my opinion, could have been a bit more elegant.
However, I'm deducting one star due to the service, which wasn't up to par that day. The lack of a wine list, cocktails, or mocktails was a real drawback: it was difficult to choose without a clear overview of the selections and prices. The service also lacked confidence, particularly when opening the bottle, with plates arriving too early and some overly intrusive interruptions during our conversation.
These missteps seemed primarily due to a lack of training, which we later understood. This doesn't detract from the quality of the food, but it did diminish the overall experience.
A very good restaurant in principle, which I would gladly return to, but which didn't fully meet our expectations on this particular occasion.

A wonderful experience! The place has been completely renovated, no longer in the same style as before, but just as charming, more modern, and tastefully done.
The menu is varied, and the food is very, very good and plentiful.

We had lunch on May 7, 2026. The welcome was very pleasant, and the unique, historic setting led us to a very peaceful and beautifully decorated outdoor space.
The dishes prepared by Jacques Rolancy, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), made us eager to explore his cuisine further.
The service confirmed the quality of the establishment. Lunch lived up to our expectations. Thank you to the entire team; we will be back.

While passing through Draguignan, we discovered Le Domino… and what a wonderful discovery it was!
Everything was remarkable: the cooking was perfectly executed, whether for fish, meat, or vegetables, and the dishes were bursting with finesse and flavor… A true explosion of taste with every bite.
The staff is attentive and caring, and Chef Jacques Rolancy, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), personally greets the guests and ensures everything is perfect, adding an even warmer and more authentic touch to the experience.
An exceptional restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend. The 5 stars are richly deserved!

a refined daily special and dessert prepared by a talented chef (whom we knew from his former restaurant in Nice),
