11/06/2026: Posts from 2025: As a big fan of Flemish carbonnade, I was very disappointed. The sauce was too strong, even sickening. I even asked the man at the next table what he thought, and he replied, "Well, not great, I've had better." We agreed. I mentioned it to the waiter, who passed the information on to the kitchen. They think they used too much gingerbread (to each their own, of course), and apparently, they threw it out to make more for the evening.
And my husband's poutine had meat that was a bit dry. It wasn't our first time there, but this time we were very disappointed, and the service was very slow. We arrived before other people and were served after them. Anyway, apparently, the poutine took a long time to prepare. We ordered again this Sunday, June 7, 2026, for our daughter's 19th birthday with family (a table of 10). Everything was perfect, the only downside being, once again, the beef cheek (which resembles Flemish carbonnade) was too sweet.
Chef, please taste your dishes more thoroughly before sending them out.

The waitstaff were very kind and friendly.
We will definitely return.
