The only downside is on weekends: the lack of staff is really noticeable, with an endless queue that somewhat spoils the experience. It's a shame, because the team does its best and the bakery deserves to be better organized during peak periods.

11/07/2026: This is my second time at this McDonald's, and I've never experienced such exceptional service. The staff is smiling, polite, and incredibly helpful. We were greeted by Laurent (who wears an apron that says "Laurent at your service"). He's a person overflowing with positive energy and kindness. Between the "Good morning, sir/madam," "Enjoy your meal," "Have a good weekend," and "Thank you for choosing us," we truly felt welcome. The staff even came to our table during the meal to make sure everything was going well and to ask if we needed anything. I've never seen anything like it at this chain! If one restaurant in the chain were to serve as a model, it would undoubtedly be the McDonald's in Coquelles/Cité de l'Europe. In addition to this incredible service, the cleanliness is impeccable: the tables are cleaned regularly (even during peak hours), and the trash and dishwashing bins are constantly emptied to prevent any overflow. A huge congratulations to Laurent and the whole team! We will gladly return.

12/07/2026: This is ridiculous! I feel like I owe the waiter money. He had a black face the whole time, didn't even say anything before bringing the food in, just shoved it under his arm without announcing the names. I didn't even hear a hello, thank you, or goodbye. I just don't understand. And it was the worst pig intestine I've ever had. It had this indescribable taste. The Mapo Tofu was actually pretty good, I can't deny that, but the service was incredibly slow. There weren't even many people there. The main point is... I'll never come back. Eating out feels like a nightmare...

05/07/2026: We arrived with very high expectations, but from the moment we walked in, there was no greeting or welcome. We were seated after standing for five minutes without anyone attending to us. Then we waited over 15 minutes to order while the staff chatted behind the till. The food itself was very good, no complaints there. But having to ask three different servers for a carafe of water is unacceptable. If you don't care about service, go ahead.

14/07/2026: First time yesterday and last. It's a shame to come to a restaurant (even a pub/brasserie) only to eat frozen fries that weren't even cooked properly. Unfortunately, this is quite common, and not just at this place. The salmon lasagna was okay, although the salmon was rather thin and the portion quite small. As for the Welsh rarebit, the cheese was good, but it's a shame that for a typical dish from the north, it was made with sliced ​​bread and processed ham. The service was fairly quick, but the customer experience needs improvement, especially when, after asking if everything was alright and receiving a negative response, there was an awkward silence without any explanation. A response, however bland, is expected, as a matter of principle… After a brief exchange at the bar over the bill, we understood that the owner didn't place much importance on the "fake" ingredients: the bread (which is a shame in France), the fries (the main ingredient in three-quarters of the dishes), the ham (which gives a general impression of the rest of the food)… I find that regrettable.

29/06/2026: Beautiful English pub setting. Very warm welcome. Quick and friendly service. Good food overall, with two minor issues: first, the fries (probably pre-cut and vacuum-packed) were mealy and not crispy enough. Second, the tarte tatin, homemade and tasty, was reheated in the microwave, which made the pastry soggy and ruined the dessert. Otherwise, nothing to complain about; overall, we were satisfied and will probably return.

27/04/2026: Hello, we're regular customers, but we were completely disappointed this time. Two sandwiches usually cost us €23, but this time the waitress didn't even ask us how many slices of ham or anything else we wanted. She just piled it on, and to our surprise, when it came time to pay, it came to €30 and some change. We didn't try to understand why, but if the waitresses add extras without telling us, they should at least point out that we're going to pay more!
