We ate very well, the service was excellent, thank you to our very friendly waitress, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and our table neighbors were very nice.

Our older children really enjoyed the tarte flambée, which was very good. However, we were a little disappointed with the children's menu, which arrived practically cold, and included steamed carrots that weren't listed on the menu and, in the end, weren't eaten. A few more spätzle would have been appreciated. Overall, a decent experience, but a few minor points could be improved. The meat/broth rolls were very good, as was the ham hock.

Magnificent medieval setting. Traditional Alsatian cuisine. Very friendly and pleasant waitress.

I prefer to go there during the Christmas market; the portions are generous and the service is excellent. I recommend the Alsatian specialties.

L'Essence du Thé

11/03/2026: It's a lovely shop with helpful staff. You can choose it to try different teas, take a break, and warm up. Seating is limited, but we were very pleased with both the teas we tried and the atmosphere; I recommend it.
13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!

01/08/2026: We had our last meal of our European tour at this lovely restaurant. The tart flambé was delicious. Also, the owner has a friend living in Ankara. It was very kind of her to speak to us in Turkish with her sweet accent. To make matters worse, she even hummed Ebru Gündeş's "Çingenem" (My Gypsy) song. We say thank you to her! ❤️❤️
