Le Figuier de Saint Esprit sur Antibes

Unfortunately this meal was a bit of a mess. As one of the reviews below also pointed out. The service was very poor, particularly so for a Michelin starred restaurant. We decided to go for the three course tasting menu and we wanted a bottle of wine to go with it. We were told the sommelier would come over. No one came for a while, so we asked a waiter. The bottle he chose was over budget and different to what was described. He just picked the first bottle he saw on the page and provided an unrelated description. We also had numerous occasions where waiters lent over us to serve other tables, including once where my wife's hair was pulled by accident. Food Starter was shrimp with infused olive oil, the dish was nice, but the shrimp and tomato part of the dish were basically two different dishes that didn't really match up. Main was the catch of the day with pea coulis, the fish was excellently cooked, the highlight of the meal. The rest of the dish was a little bland, it lacked texture and flavour variation. Dessert was the chocolate symphonie, unfortunately the dish was one note and bland. Overall the food was disappointing and not the level we would have expected for a high class restaurant. Lastly the price, this meal was expensive, and given the poor service and average food, it was poor value for money. Ultimately, the meal was a bit of a disappointment, food was ok, but not great, cost was very high and the service was poor.

This isn't my first time here. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is really lovely, right by the sea. Thanks to Celia for her kindness and professionalism; I highly recommend it.

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a wonderful evening. The restaurant is magnificent, with a superb terrace offering breathtaking views of the sea, just beyond the ramparts. The cuisine is refined, creative, and bursting with flavor. Each dish was as beautiful as it was delicious. The service is professional, efficient, and warm, without any stiffness. The pace of the meal was perfectly managed: neither too fast nor too slow, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. A big thank you to the entire team for this truly wonderful experience. We will gladly return and recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

A very good expirience, i have to note though its a bit annoying when people come on electric scooters or running through the area the guest are seated.

Had a fantastic anniversary dinner. We did the eight course tasting menu with wine pairings. The pairings were very well done. Lots of standout dishes. The executive chef clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. He’s the most French looking man you’ve ever seen (I say this affectionately) and he comes to every table to chat.

Haute cuisine served seated alongside the city wall. Every dish was immaculately presented and was a work of art unto itself. The chef came out at the end to greet every table as a delightful cap to a true culinary experience.

A wonderful discovery during lunch with my mother at Le Figuier de Saint-Esprit. We chose the lunch menu and were captivated from beginning to end. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the sea and the old town, making the experience even more enjoyable. On the plate, the ingredients were incredibly fresh, the flavors delicate, and each dish prepared with great finesse. Everything was refined, delicious, and imbued with emotion. Having recently eaten at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris, I can say without hesitation that this lunch made a greater impression on us. I was also delighted to introduce my mother, who is from abroad, to French cuisine that is both creative and true to its traditions.
