Le Figuier de Saint Esprit sur Antibes

Delicious food, thank you to the Brazilian waiter for brightening up our meal, fingers crossed for the election tonight 🤞

We came for lunch and took the Figuier menu. Between the two of us we ordered differently at every course, which turned out to be the right decision — there was no weak choice to be found. The Obsiblue shrimp with kaffir-lime olive oil was delicate and precise; the Landes foie gras with cocoa had a depth we were still talking about days later. For the mains, the catch of the day on the teppan yaki and the Challans duck breast with pan-fried duck liver were both beautifully judged — clean, confident cooking with nothing hidden behind sauce. And the Soliès fig roasted with maple syrup was the dessert to order here. It is not every restaurant that lives up to its own name. The service was warm and unhurried, and the courtyard is a lovely place to spend a long lunch. Antibes is full of places living off the market crowds; this is not one of them. One of the meals of our trip. Thank you.

This is an exceptional restaurant. Starting with the setting - views across Antibes harbour with Nice in the distance. Beautiful Provençal light bathes the courtyard gastronomic experience. Everything was natural, yet elevated. Balanced: lime and pepper on scallop with mushrooms. Sea bass, perfectly caramelised. The signature Figs are exquisite. Welcoming and attentive staff made this a rare and wonderful meal. Ps lovely to say thanks to Christian personally - a craftsman at work

Excellent food, superb desserts, and a beautiful terrace overlooking the Remparts. However, the price for the lunch menu (€79) seems rather steep. A classic touch: the owner actually stopped by each table briefly at lunchtime!

EXCEPTIONNEL!!! This is one of the most beautifulest diner we had in our lives. From the beginning and the warm welcome of the team and the Chef Christian Morisset until the end of the diner, we had a great time and incredible meals! I can’t understand the quotes of the G&M (they didn’t get there I am sure) and why this place lost the Michelin star. It is, and it can’t be ignored, a remarkable table and a great great CHEF!!! Forever in our mind and heart for our mariage anniversary!

Lunch at Le Figuier de Saint-Esprit was the highlight of our day in Antibes. Every course was thoughtful and beautifully executed, and the octopus is something I'll be thinking about for a long time. Service was warm and polished without being stiff, and we ended up lingering over coffee because we didn't want to leave. A lovely touch: the chef came out to greet our table personally. Worth every euro and worth planning a trip to Antibes around. Merci!

The service was okay and friendly. Unfortunately, we sometimes had to wait quite a while for a waiter to acknowledge us and come to our table. The food was very good, but the portions were a bit too small. For €70, the piece of veal on the plate should have been a bit larger.

We had an exceptional experience celebrating our anniversary here. The food, hospitality, and ambiance were extraordinary and made our evening truly special. Kudos to Chef Christian Morisset and his team for this gem of a restaurant. We highly recommend getting a reservation if you’re in Antibes and appreciate fine dining.

A fantastic gastronomic experience at Le Figuier de Saint Esprit We had the pleasure of experiencing Le Menu Découverte, and it was an evening we will never forget. A fantastic journey through taste and creativity, where every dish was well thought out and beautifully presented. The good wines that accompanied the menu put the finishing touch. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly service-minded and accommodating staff. We felt welcome from the first moment and were pampered throughout the evening. And not least Christian Morisset, who with his presence, his warmth and good humor made my dear wife and I feel at home. It made the experience personal and pleasant in a way that you don't experience every day at a restaurant of this level. A big thank you to the entire team at Le Figuier de Saint Esprit for a fantastic evening. We left feeling full, happy and with a big smile. An experience we would love to repeat, and our warmest recommendations to anyone who appreciates gastronomy, good wines and genuine hospitality...

A restaurant tucked away a bit, a terrace along the rampart, impeccable service, and above all, Michelin-starred cuisine with a chef who comes to greet you and tells you about his dishes. Thank you, Chef! A must-try, and worth repeating! ⁰0
