Le Fournil de St Loup sur Bayeux

02/09/2024: Inexpensive, very friendly hotel in an ideal location right next to the train station. All of the city's attractions are within walking distance. The room is a bit old and quite small (shower and toilet were added later), but well maintained and very colorful. The mattress was comfortable. Since it was warm and we slept with the window open, the traffic got a little louder in the morning. An inexpensive French breakfast was served downstairs in the relaxed bar, which is obviously family-run and frequented by locals in the morning. The hotel has been family-run for several generations. The operator was extremely hospitable and had a lot of history to tell. He was also gallant and carried the heavy bag upstairs for our friend who was traveling with us.

16/08/2024: Very well received, with a smile the little dog in a stroller was very well received. The boss has a smile, the dishes are really fresh, the meat is perfectly cooked, blue as I like it and hot on the outside, the green beans are delicious, tender, I highly recommend.
