Excellent bakery with very friendly staff

The bakery section offers excellent quality bread and is connected to a large area for eating in! Get the full breakfast for €7! The toast comes with butter already on it! A great place, and there's parking nearby!

I've been several times, it's a shame the welcome is sometimes so cold. The pastries are very good, however, the cakes are rather disappointing.

I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but while the wholemeal, traditional boule, and raisin bread are excellent, it varies from day to day. On Friday, for example, it was hard and almost inedible, especially the next morning. It's a shame because it's often good.

I came this morning, the homemade daily special was incredible, I highly recommend it! The atmosphere was better than Sunday morning... I ran into the owner at the till who threw a pair of tongs on the floor, and she was incredibly unpleasant. She sets a bad example for her employees. And she never puts the correct price on the till; she told me, "It's the same price." I advise against going there; avoid it at all costs. Even working there takes courage.

Friendly welcome, super fresh lunch, I particularly recommend the homemade cereal and dried fruit bar, a delight!

I arrived at 12:35 PM, even though the bakery closes at 1:00 PM. I thought I'd have plenty of time to buy some bread. But clearly, the saleswoman had already decided the day was over… A frosty reception, not a smile, and on top of that, she told me, "I can't do it on Sundays." I didn't realize that a bakery couldn't sell bread 25 minutes before closing time… It's a shame; a little friendliness and respect for customers would make me much more inclined to come back.

I regularly come to the Gascon bakery to get my bread, and on Saturdays our ritual is coffee break. I'd like to tell you about Clelia, who works there and is absolutely lovely, always smiling, a real gem! If she didn't exist, she'd have to be invented 🥰… The other girls are lovely too. In short, I 100% recommend this Gascon bakery.

The cakes were very good, however, the service was average and the raisin bread had too much sugar on it and lacked cream and raisins.
