Mcdonald's Marmande sur Marmande

I'm a regular at this McDonald's. Overall, it's a good fast-food restaurant: I haven't had an order mistake in a long time, not to mention the burgers are getting smaller over time. The service is sometimes very fast, sometimes a little slower, but nothing out of the ordinary. However, I witnessed a scene that deeply shocked me. A young employee, probably in training or perhaps in his first job, was cleaning the dining area. Apparently, his trainer had deliberately left a piece of paper on the floor to see if he would pick it up. When he didn't see it, she started reprimanding him sharply, right there in the dining area, in front of all the other customers. Put yourself in that young man's shoes. If it was his first job, this kind of public humiliation is enough to put someone off the world of work altogether. Despite the stares of the customers, this manager continued her relentless attack, making no attempt to be patient or understanding. I also noticed that until his break, this young man did nothing but sweep the floor. I find this behavior deeply unprofessional. A trainee has the right to make mistakes. Her role as a trainer is to teach him, to correct him respectfully, and above all, to do so away from the customers. Humiliating a young person in public accomplishes nothing except making him feel uncomfortable. I genuinely felt sorry for this young man. I hope management will remind certain supervisors that managing an employee also means showing respect, humanity, and a patient approach.

McDonald's is classic in terms of food, but the staff are always smiling; however, the toilets are not very clean (no water in the toilets, very bad smell).
