The dishes were original.
Unfortunately, the desserts were either too sweet (island delights) or not sweet enough (black mountain). A shame, as it spoiled the sweet ending to the meal. The table service was impeccable. However, the service for the main courses was very slow (45 minutes between ordering and the arrival of the appetizer).

The welcome was simple, the service unremarkable, and the menu wasn't particularly well-known. There's a lot of room for improvement for a restaurant of this caliber; the dishes lacked flavor, the starter was lukewarm, almost cold, and the sauce had set. Only the dessert was a delight. In short, very disappointed overall. What a shame.

This is the second time that, using a cultural interest that necessitated a visit to the Louvre-Lens as an excuse, we've prioritized our appetites and booked a table at Le Galibot restaurant right next door.
The dishes on the menu are full of flavor, the service is attentive, and the value for money is excellent. So, we'll postpone our next visit to the museum for a very sooner rather than later.

Restaurant located right next to the Hôtel Louvre Lens and accessible from it. Magnificent decor. A small menu guarantees the freshness of the ingredients. Delicious dishes from appetizer to dessert. Special mention for the pithiviers with three meats; a real treat! Welcoming and attentive staff. We were won over! Thank you!

The dining room features black, light wood, and cement tiles—in short, the hallmarks of a Northern style—in a spacious yet welcoming setting.
The service was discreet, efficient, and calm. I had limited time for lunch, and the timing was perfect.
The dish was delicious, with just the right amount of food and high quality. It offered a variety of ingredients—vegetables, cheese, meat, and sauce—all in one dish.

I would ask the waitresses to be a bit more sociable, especially in this environment; the service is very slow, which is a shame. The meal was beautifully presented by the kitchen staff, but the prices are very high à la carte. It's a pity they don't offer set menus with a main course and dessert or a starter and main course, as having three is wasteful. For those who dine here, perhaps you could try speaking with management to implement these à la carte menus. Thank you for this wonderful place.
