Le Galoubet sur Arles

The ambiance is cozy and shady... with a few guitars lying around. The service was very quick, attentive, and friendly. They were up for a laugh. The food was very flavorful with subtle touches. Excellent cuisine. The prices were reasonable. The location is nicely central yet tucked away. We've been there twice and were very satisfied. Thank you.

The restaurant I went to on Sunday evening was very good, unfortunately, it was closed yesterday. I continued on my way and saw Le Galoubet. It has a shaded terrace on a small street in Arles, which is very pleasant. I ordered the chicken and the Paris-Brest (I had already seen in the reviews that it was divine) and I absolutely don't regret ordering it. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've booked a table for tonight. I can't wait to go back! I've already been! Still as good as ever! This time: The fish and the lemon cream. I've booked for tomorrow. This time: The hanger steak and the apricots! I've booked again for tomorrow (and the last day). They are very helpful! After eating there every night for four days, I can honestly say it's absolutely delicious! Admittedly, it's a bit pricey (€43 for a soft drink, main course, and dessert), but it's well worth the trip and a real treat for the taste buds. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!! And I'll definitely remember this place.

A wonderful discovery. Impeccable service, delicious food, and a very pleasant setting thanks to a lovely shaded terrace. You can go there without hesitation!

Good food, good wine, friendly staff

Had dinner at Le Galoubet. Probably our best meal during our stay in Arles. We sat outside under a canopy of leaves, really magical. I had escargot ravioli followed by the onglet de boeuf. Both cooked to perfection, really delicious. I would recommend Le Galoubet to anyone who wants to eat out in Arles. Parfait.

Good local ingredients well prepared in Provencal way, with bright flavors that delight one's tongue. Beautiful but not pretentious presentation. Atmosphere is charming and relaxed. Decent price.

Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Arles. We go there regularly because no other establishment offers such good value for money. The menu, which changes with the seasons, showcases high-quality ingredients. The only downside is the lack of a vegetarian option. The service is also excellent. I highly recommend it!

Very friendly service. Good wine recommendations. But the portions were too small for me. We asked for more fries, which wasn't a problem.

We were told about this restaurant by a local and it led up to all expectations! A little off the main track, but worth finding. We sat on the terrace, covered by wisteria. At lunch time the restaurant was full of locals. We ordered the special gambas with spinach and rocket salad. The gambas had a slight curry flavour and were perfectly cooked, melting in the mouth. The other main course was beautifully cooked chicken, served with homemade fries, fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce. The dishes took a while to arrive, but everything is cooked fresh to order. This is definitely a restaurant to visit if you enjoy excellent local cuisine.

The best desert I’ve tried in Europe. Best expression of the southern France experience! The staff are so ffriendly the steak is tender with the umami mushroom sauce 💕 our starter with the fried wonton skin is just right on spot!
