Le garage sur Pau

I went there last night and it was a fantastic discovery! The food was top-notch with very generous portions, and their wine selection is simply phenomenal. The atmosphere was perfect: both energetic and very welcoming, with a relaxed and comfortable vibe. A huge shout-out to our server, Paul! He was extremely professional, charming, and full of humor—impeccable service that was a pleasure to witness. I'm sharing a few photos to show you everything. I highly recommend it! 🍻🍷

Great setting! Perfect for a beer or a meal. The burger was absolutely delicious! The dessert was also very good! I'll definitely be back!

A legendary spot in the triangle that was the scene of our youthful nights out... today the area is much sadder in terms of atmosphere, but the garage has managed to keep what made us love this place so much, and the restaurant isn't too bad.

A fantastic find! 🤩 Everything is perfect: a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and a top-notch team. The food is a real treat… the burger is simply exceptional! The drinks selection is varied, with something for everyone. This place truly deserves to be known. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it!

We visited Pau for 4 nights and ate at Le Garage twice:) Otto made our first visit unforgettable with his kindness, switching between French and English -- and that tidbit of advice to use bread to sop up the leftover sauce with the chicken wings! The portions are huge, the beer choices -- too many!, prices very reasonable! I don't quite get the description of Le Garage as "gritty" and just serving pub food. I had the most delicious fish and chips served with those V-cut fries! Even the chicken wings are not typical pub food, but quite unique: ginger, soy sauce and sesame seed! And I love the vintage decor!!

A true gem. On my trip to Pau, I was saved when i arrived at 8pm on a Sunday, when most places are either closed or no longer serving food, this place showed up walking distance from my friend’s house. Truly the best burger I have had in years. Amazing flavor, great temperature control on the burgers, and the best french fries ever. I have never seen them made this way- waffle wedge shape. The potato appears cut in a wavy V, and then fried. The inside is fluffy and the outside is crisp. Never burnt. And for a great price. It is better than some of the pricier meals in town. I have eaten at Michelin Star restaurants both in Pau and abroad. Some are mostly hype and presentation. Most have both hits and misses in a meal. Whether it is the starter or the dessert, or possibly even the main meal that lacks coherent, inviting, flavor. This pub won’t disappoint at all, and won’t break the bank either.

Great burgers and beverages, and very friendly service. Stopped in for a lunch and glad we did! Fries were fantastic. Fun spot, with a great vibe.
