On our cycling route south, we stopped in Pau.
We were looking for a restaurant for dinner.
And that's when we stumbled upon the Vintage Café.

Delicious, homemade dishes, bursting with flavor and generous portions. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with every detail.
The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. The setting is lovely and warm, perfect for a pleasant meal.

We ate from the set menu and everything was exquisite, surprisingly well presented, and in very reasonable portions. The two-course menu included dessert; the strawberry panna cotta and crème brûlée were fantastic. The short coffee was perfect. The waiters were very friendly and spoke excellent Spanish. It's right next to the Chateau. There were four of us, and the bill came to €105. A real find!

A wonderful discovery in the city of Pau. The restaurant is near the castle and features a beautiful fountain in the center.
The service is impeccable and the cuisine rivals that of the finest restaurants. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the staff are friendly and professional.
A truly delightful find. I highly recommend this restaurant.
