We discovered this restaurant during a previous stay in Pau three years ago. We were happy to stop by again on a Saturday at lunchtime. Prices have increased considerably in three years, but so has everything else (thanks to inflation!). We had the set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €22. Individual dishes are around €20 (€19 for a homemade burger and fries). The children's menu is €12 and includes crispy chicken and fries, and a scoop of ice cream or panna cotta. The servers were pleasant, although the service seemed a little slow. However, the quality of the food is still excellent; the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. We had a lovely time.

Positive points: The reservation was accepted at the last minute (I called 10 minutes beforehand), which was much appreciated! The meal was good (no complaints there) and the waitress was particularly friendly.
Areas for improvement: The wait was quite long (45 minutes to be served) due to a problem with the kitchen exhaust hood. A bit of a shame, especially since the price, while reasonable, was a little high for a burger (€19).
Overall, it was decent without being exceptional, but the warm welcome and friendliness of the staff made up for it.

Excellent welcome, attentive staff who were able to describe the ingredients of the dishes, very reasonable wait between courses.
High-quality meal, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent establishment.

We were blown away by my cooking; simple at its core, but with flavor combinations that linger in the memory.
