We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You could really tell that high-quality ingredients were used, and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. They were happy to offer recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.

A mixed experience at George, leaving a sense of disconnect between the stated ambition, the setting, and Simone Zanoni's signature style, and what actually arrives on the plate. The vitello tonnato immediately illustrates this disconnect: a decent but unbalanced interpretation, where the sauce lacks depth and aromatic tension. A single fresh caper timidly enhances the dish, and the absence of raw Parmesan—which provides texture and a bold flavor—is clearly felt. The dish is more reminiscent of a veal carpaccio prepared in the style of vitello tonnato. A name reflecting this would undoubtedly have been more accurate and less likely to disappoint. The beef carpaccio with black truffle, despite its impeccable ingredients, remains surprisingly understated and deserves that little extra something that transforms a dish from "good" to "remarkable." Conversely, the pea, burrata, and horseradish velouté is a real winner: perfectly balanced texture, vibrant freshness, and horseradish that adds a precise and perfectly measured twist. The pasta dishes confirm a frustratingly consistent approach. The ravioli del plin with three ricottas, lemon, and mint are good, but lack generosity: fewer ravioli, more sauce, and more raw ingredients (especially shaved Parmesan) would have added depth and richness. The same can be said for the braised veal agnolotti with oyster mushrooms and a rich jus: a decent execution, an interesting jus, but an overall somewhat restrained feel, far from the expected Italian generosity. The tortellini carbonara are undoubtedly the most accomplished: the shape provides genuine pleasure in the mouth, with a delicious center that works perfectly. There is, however, no sauce, which leaves an incomplete, almost dry, and somewhat heavy feeling, despite the delicious filling of the tortellini. Again, the Parmesan, too subtle, deserves a more prominent presence, perhaps in shavings, to add texture and character. The dessert thankfully raises the bar. The caramelized torta di mele, meant for sharing, is a real winner: generous, indulgent, and perfectly executed. It comes with vanilla ice cream, a touch understated in its vanilla flavor, which complements the dish without ever overpowering it. It's simple, straightforward, and incredibly effective—the kind of dish you'll gladly have seconds of. Adding to this is an absolutely remarkable focaccia served with the meal, as well as the pleasure of leaving with a bottle of olive oil and a focaccia—a thoughtful touch that extends the experience. The wine list is interesting and well-curated, with some excellent selections. However, it remains a bit pricey for a restaurant of this caliber. Here again, one gets the feeling that one is paying more for the location—the Four Seasons Hotel George V—than for the menu itself. As for the ambiance, the place is undeniably beautiful, but the experience is marred by an excessively loud and intrusive sound and music level. The atmosphere lacks intimacy: the service is very attentive, almost overly so, to the point of sometimes becoming intrusive, with a constant buzzing around the table. Despite the tables being spaced apart, there is a sense of close quarters, almost of overcrowding, far from the calm and serenity one generally expects from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Perhaps this experience simply suffers from our high standards. If this had been our first Michelin-starred restaurant, we would undoubtedly have been delighted. But with the comparisons we have today, the gap is too wide: it falls far short of the expected standards for a similar price and level of quality, both in terms of value for money and overall quality.

An absolutely incredible experience at Le George restaurant. The service was simply extraordinary, with a team that went above and beyond to make the moment even more special. The dishes were exquisite, generous, and perfectly executed—without a doubt, the best meal of my life. Special mention for Chef Simone Zanoni's tortellini carbonara: absolutely divine! I recommend it 100%; a must-try in Paris.

We had the pleasure of discovering Le George restaurant, helmed by Chef Simone Zanoni, in the sumptuous setting of the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, and the experience was simply remarkable. We opted for the tasting menu at €160, and each dish was distinguished by its exquisite finesse. Special mention goes to the veal jus and the clam sauce with truffle, which I still vividly remember. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, the portions were also generous, which was particularly appreciated. The service was impeccable: an exceptionally kind and attentive team from beginning to end, with a thoughtful touch for my father's birthday that made the occasion even more special. Having had the opportunity to try several Michelin-starred restaurants in Belgium, I would be genuinely surprised if this team isn't soon awarded a second star. An address I recommend without hesitation!

Loved the tasting menu that we both had. Food was amazing! We felt the service could have been better, the first courses felt rushed, a knife forgotten on the table, focaccia not severed and had to be reminded.

A wonderful time with the family. We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday there. It was perfect. Delicious Italian food, lovely and very professional staff. A very pleasant setting. A beautiful and spacious dining room. In short, an establishment that is both chic and welcoming. Everything to please. Thank you all 🙏🏻

An absolutely exceptional experience!! Words cannot adequately express how wonderful our time at George was. We received a very warm welcome and opted for the tasting menu. We had taken the time to communicate our dietary restrictions beforehand, and we greatly appreciated the attention given to personalizing the menus and dishes to suit everyone's preferences. The dishes themselves were exquisite and of a very high level of refinement. Special mention goes to the tuna crudo, the lobster risotto, and the scallops. The service was excellent, and the staff were very attentive and responsive. This is a restaurant I highly recommend!
