Le Gnôme et Rhône sur Lyon

I didn't think I'd have to leave a review for a local bar but please let's talk! Let's start with the positive: a really cool pub-effect decor, good rock sound as we like in this kind of place, really adorable waiters/bartenders who know their job, always there to advise you, a little touch of humor and a smile guaranteed (small dedication to the waitress with the tattoos on her arm). On the other hand, I didn't really understand the usefulness of the gentleman who seems to be a bouncer at first glance, sitting all evening or almost on a chair at the entrance to the bar, on his phone. I want to talk about him because unlike the rest of the team, not a single smile on his face to stare at and stare at the customers there are people there! Who is this guy? I almost asked him if he wanted the reference of my underwear because apparently he was looking for them… I come to this awesome bar regularly but having such a rude character here is really chilling.

The establishment is really nice, the staff is dynamic but the oldest waiter would be more efficient if he served as much as he is on his phone, is he the bouncer or an employee?!?

When we came, there was an electricity problem but the service was great. Thank you and good luck.

The perfect Lyonnaise bar! This place is one of the must-sees for our group of friends! The atmosphere of the establishment is festive while being relaxing, with a nice beer list to drink from. The music playing inside is quality, good times guaranteed! But the greatest quality of this place is surely the staff, warm and smiling human beings. Seeing the waiters warmly welcome us upon arrival is the start of a good evening. My thanks to Solveig, who brightened up our trip to the bar, a professional, cheerful and efficient waitress! In summary, an exemplary team, an inimitable atmosphere, varied service and all this just a stone's throw from the metro. I don’t know about you, but for me it’s a place that guarantees you a time full of joy.

Last night, we went to Gnome et Rhône with friends and we met the new waitress Solveig who was very pleasant. It feels good to meet people who are so sunny and open to customers. Unparalleled in its gentleness, we were able to have a wonderful evening until it closed without even realizing it. Ps: all the staff are friendly but we have our favorite!

Great atmosphere, the cocktails are really varied and good, the staff is great... the sublime Lili, the delicious Estelle and the vigorous Adan are adorable.
