The octopus in my pasta dish was old, the meat in my husband’s dish was cold on the inside. The pasta was overcooked. Wine was ok. The owner seemed sweet. I’ll try again sometime!

I've been passing by for years... And I finally stopped in for lunch today! And I had a wonderful meal! The owner is fantastic and I loved chatting with her! I'll definitely be back!

Sète was a stop on our road trip and we stumbled upon Le Gourmand when we were looking for dinner spots. The food was delicious. We had razor clams and scallops gratinée and both were prepared with super fresh ingredients. We had beef for main course and it was so comforting. The owners are so nice. They were really friendly and helpful when we struggled with our French. The owners made us feel at home. Highly recommend!

Well, in her review, the former employee used the word "scalded"... But right afterward, she was delighted with her culinary experience at this gourmet restaurant in Sète! The owners are charming and, despite their obvious fatigue, continue to create truly local and generous cuisine! Looking forward to a well-deserved retirement, but don't give up! Delighted artists!

28/02/2026: We loved it!! The waiter's service was exceptional, always checking to make sure everything was alright. He explained the dishes and made suggestions. The food was great, and the desserts were delicious. We would definitely return!
