We opted for the €28 set menu, which included a starter, main course (and amuse-bouche), and a bottle of wine. Everything was excellent. It's a superb restaurant, unpretentious yet of a very high standard. We would gladly return.

I reserved a table, specifying that it was my daughter's 12th birthday that same day. The woman on the phone told me she would put a candle on her cake. When dessert arrived, we took out our phones to film the cake's arrival, and there was nothing! 😱 No candle, no "Happy Birthday" message! The surprise was ruined! We were extremely disappointed.
Furthermore, the dishes had too many flavor combinations that didn't necessarily work together.

A wonderful time at Le Grand Bleu in Calais!
I started with vitello tofu with cherry tomatoes, simply perfect: tender meat, balanced flavors, and incredibly fresh.
Then, the turbot with asparagus risotto… a true delight! The fish was cooked to perfection, and the risotto was wonderfully creamy and full of flavor.
A fantastic experience from start to finish, with carefully prepared and delicious dishes. I highly recommend it!
