First off, the staff decides you order your drinks at the same time as your meal! Unbelievable! I wanted a drink first and to look at the menu in peace. Hygiene was a nightmare: dirty tablecloth, greasy and unappetizing menu items, and the service should be the same as the starter. The salmon appetizer was swimming in oil, and the lemon slice, meant to improve the mediocre flavor, was so thin it was unusable. Things improved after that; the main course was very good, the dessert too, and the staff made a much better impression than when we first arrived.

Lunch at midday, pleasant terrace sheltered from the sun and rain. Efficient service. The "bouillon" menu (well, all restaurants emphasize this...) is €18.50. Grilled sardines were well-cooked, with quality side dishes, and a very good ribeye steak. The rice pudding with salted caramel for dessert was delicious. The restaurant advertises an air-conditioned dining room. A good place to eat.

Table booked two days in advance. The staff were helpful, courteous, and attentive to our needs. The dishes were visually appealing, and even though the portions were small, they were sufficient. I found the desserts a bit pricey, even though they were very good and homemade. A pleasant time spent as a couple.

On a cozy little square that isn't too busy. Nice terrace. We went for the mussels and found them delicious. Combined with a glass of white Saumur and a petit café to finish. Excellent! And a very reasonable price. The service was friendly and quick. Highly recommended.

25/05/2026: Neat and clean, good food. A little older but good value. Friendly and helpful staff. Safe bicycle storage
26/04/2026: Overall, a decent stay with a few points for improvement. The room was spacious and very quiet, which was a plus. However, a major drawback was the bedding: the mattress was very uncomfortable, causing back pain and preventing us from sleeping well. This is especially disappointing given that the establishment advertises quality bedding. The door insulation could also be improved. We were also surprised to find our "Do Not Disturb" sign removed twice by the neighboring room, which was inconvenient. We didn't try the breakfast, but having a kettle in the room was a convenient bonus. In short, a decent stay, but the bedding definitely needs to be replaced.

11/07/2026: A pleasant restaurant on Rue Saint-Jean. It's not fine dining, but it's a comfortable place. The waitresses are very friendly and do their best to minimize the wait time. And the setting is great.
11/07/2026: We had a delicious meal. The baba rum was very tasty. Very friendly service, the chairs were a bit hard, but it's a really great place to enjoy a nice meal.
