The waiter is very pleasant, fast service with a smile, however a small commercial error at 5 p.m. they do not systematically offer the dessert menu

Come as a couple, impeccable service, the waiter knows his job and is smiling too :) The tartare was a little small, but the rest was very good.

I'm surprised by the 1 star reviews. My experiences have all been very good for breakfast and lunch. As an American who speaks some French and has been to France many times over the years, I can tell you that some French people - not all - do not react well to people who make no effort to start l interaction in French, if only to memorize the phrase: “Excuse me, is it possible to speak English, please?” My French is not very good yet, my apologies. » I am surprised by the 1 star reviews. On the way out from seeing Fontainebleau Castle, we stopped at Le Grand Café. Magnificent Angus entrecôte with fries. 4 people ate and everyone was satisfied. Nice atmosphere. Good price.

Excellent vegetarian aubergine lasagna. The piece du boucher was very tender and tasty, the accompanying oven-roast vegetables and potatoes were delicious. We really enjoyed our meal here.

Nice food, but somewhat expensive in terms of quality/price ratio. Friendly staff available to try to understand the foreigner's wishes and hesitations.
