Le Grand Cafe sur Brioude

08/08/2026: A really nice place with great food. The service is pleasant and, above all, always with a smile, even when it's busy. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, we had a wonderful time.

04/08/2026: The welcome and service were good. As for the food, €20 for the main course (butcher's cut with fries and blue cheese sauce) seemed fine until the food arrived. The fries were a very small portion (see photo). I ordered it rare, and it arrived rare, but the meat was boiled during cooking. The bread was elastic. The same thing happened to the person with me (the same dish as mine), except for the way their meat was cooked (they received four different cooking levels for the same piece of meat, even though they ordered it rare). For dessert, I ordered a molten chocolate cake, which ended up being a gooey one. My friend was lucky; he ordered ice cream, which arrived frozen solid. Personally, I think this place is fine for drinks, but don't expect fine dining.
