A sunny spring day, at low tide, sitting on the terrace of the "Grand Herbet", contemplating the magnificent panorama, offered by the shimmering golden shine of the herbets (kelp), on the ocher and brownish rocks, and the noria oyster farmers' tractors. Except for the appeal of the terrace, not much to say...except that. Ordinary cuisine, Fish And Chips and ordinary lemon tart. Average service. Local and noisy atmosphere. This is all average.

What a wonderful discovery.....magnificent setting with a direct view of the sea. Perfect cuisine, refined cuisine. Top waiter, lots of humor and very professional. I highly recommend, to do and to do again

Lovely location overlooking the beach, stumbled across it! Able to easily get a table at 5pm. Watching the oyster & mussel farmers bringing their catch in was interesting Drinks reasonable prices & service just okay, can just as easily go to the bar and get your own. No pressure for the table we sat for about an hour or so watching the theatre of small boats being dragged out of the water by tractor. Payment can be by card unlike the bar opposite which was cash only! Plenty of parking close by. We would recommend and return.

Crustacés (huitres, bulots, crevettes) excellents et frais. Accueil souriant. Serveur sympa ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ;)

14/01/2025: For those who don't know how to go here, there's a total change of scenery, don't go there too late, there are a lot of people.
14/01/2025: If you get the chance to visit La Cale grab it with both hands, everything was perfect, lunch was first class, a large open fire added to the atmosphere and roasted the leg of local lamb that my wife had, we will return soon, guaranteed

30/08/2024: Nous avons profité de l’offre du midi à 29,90€ pour revenir déjeuner dans ce restaurant que nous avions aimé. J’ai apprécié la dégustation d’épices et la tisane qui a accompagnée le repas. Le menu était décevant - œufs mimosa - 80 gr de lieu jaune et un choux à la chantilly!!! Mais, j’ai ressenti un mépris, une sorte de condescendance à notre égard qui m’a vraiment perturbée. De ce fait, je n’ai pas acheté d’épices !! Attention aux prix des boissons qui est dissuasif, l’eau pétillante a 13€ les 75 cl est un record, le petit verre de vin a 11€ et le café a 9€. Il n’y a plus de magie, peu de saveur que ce sentiment d’avoir droit à un regard ou un sourire en fonction des dépenses. Je ne suis pas certaine de revenir
