The place was full, so we just had a coffee leaning against the counter. The waitress was friendly and smiling. The place is crowded, so it's best to make a reservation to eat there. The atmosphere is nice.

We went for drinks to celebrate the reopening and ordered drinks from the menu, but they didn't have them (no signature cocktail, no Picon beer). Frankly, it was very mediocre for a reopening, very disappointing. Plus, it was noisy. So we didn't stay for dinner. It's all well and good to redo the decor, but shouldn't they also restock their supplies to be able to serve customers?

Regulars at Le Grand Herbet, we discovered the restaurant this weekend after its change of ownership. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment for us. What made this place an authentic family spot with delicious cuisine is no longer there. The decor is refined, but the new menu is uninteresting and lacks flavor: a tasteless skate wing, a burger advertised as "smashed" that wasn't actually assembled or cooked, etc. It's such a shame; an institution has disappeared. Nevertheless, the welcome was warm, the location is still beautiful, and the service was simple yet generous. We won't be back...

Amazing location in Blainville (recommended by our B&B) with a lovely terrace overlooking the beach. All the dishes we had for dinner were truly delicious, well-balanced, beautifully served and made of fresh and local products. A large part of the menu is made up of seafood from the fishermen of the neighbouring towns. Very good value for money! A wonderful discovery!

Great view, warm and cozy. Small menu during the winter months, which is probably why the kitchen closes between 2 and 6 pm. Quiet and almost empty at that time.

Twenty years ago I came to this place, and what can I say 20 years later? Absolutely fantastic, keep it up! Genuine people, great food, atmosphere, quality, service, reasonable prices—everything is there...meet locals, experience nature, the real deal! Not the superficial stuff served up in every conceivable way, the rampant commercialism. An excellent evening with tuna tataki, a plate of smoked fish, roasted Camembert, and tuna steak...THANK YOU!

23/01/2026: Superb experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant ⭐️ We tried the famous "cheapest menu in France for a Michelin-starred restaurant," which we'd heard about on several cooking shows, particularly on France Inter, and we weren't disappointed. The menu is a set menu for €29.90, including a starter, main course, and dessert. Stick to this if you don't want the bill to skyrocket. After reading other reviews, we were worried, but you can get away with spending around €100 for two if you're careful. Indeed, a bottle of mineral water is €12.90, no bottle of wine is under €70, and a glass of wine is €15, not to mention the espresso at €8.90 😱 but it's a Michelin-starred restaurant!! We opted for the wine pairing at €22 for two glasses of wine per person, and it was perfect 👌🏻 We ate very well, both in terms of quality and quantity, and the bill came to €103 for two, which is more than reasonable for a Michelin-starred restaurant 👍🏻 Thank you to the team, who were very pleasant, smiling, and attentive 🥰
