Le Grand Hotel sur Chateau-Du-Loir

For me, it's about the restaurant itself. The welcome was very good, and the beginning of the meal was excellent. However, the main course was inedible; the tuna was far too salty. We pointed it out, but didn't get a discount. We left the tuna as it was, except for a tiny piece that fit on a teaspoon to taste. It's a shame because, being from Château, I could have gone back with guests. I think that's not going to happen for now. Another minor drawback is that the next course arrived almost as soon as we finished our plates; there wasn't even time to breathe. There's fast service and then there's fast service, especially since we hadn't said anything.

A wonderful experience at lunchtime today! The waitress was lovely and radiant! The beef tagine was delicious, and we were served with a smile even though we arrived at the end of service. I highly recommend it!

Delighted to see the restaurant open again, quiet location, impeccable service, tasty food and the added bonus of easy parking in front of a beautiful building, I recommend this place.

Very disappointed with the restaurant. It used to be a very good place, but it's become completely ordinary, as bland as a box of nougat in the middle of Montélimar. Mediocre service, no vegetarian option on the menu, the duck fillet had an unpleasant taste (wasn't it fresh?), the tuna starter was far too salty, and the dessert was very average, according to my colleague (a chocolate fondant expert): a run-of-the-mill fondant with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and four Chocapic chocolates: MEH! There were four of us, more or less regular customers, and all four of us have been very disappointed since the change of ownership. It will be a while before we go back.

Nice atmosphere, pleasant service, a great place to share a meal with friends or family. The food is good and you won't be asking for seconds 😂
