The place is great, unfortunately, during my meal, the waitress didn't seem very knowledgeable about the dishes, etc. Still a nice setting for a quick meal.

We received a very warm welcome even without a reservation (perhaps because we were the last to arrive!).
The atmosphere was noisy when we entered the restaurant, probably because it was almost full.
The service was professional and the staff were pleasant.
I received excellent advice regarding my choice of dish (from the menu).
A very enjoyable meal!

A pleasant maritime setting and decor; we had a well-placed table overlooking the marina. I ordered mussels and fries in a cream sauce, which were quite small but served in a generous portion; the "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) could be, shall we say, more "gourmet." The service could be improved; I asked for a carafe of water and they forgot about it. I asked for dessert and they forgot again. The place is authentic, the food is acceptable, but it's regrettable that these two or three service errors prevent us from truly enjoying our time.

New menu at Le Grand Pavois: beef fillet Rossini for my wife, octopus cooked for 8 hours for me—perfect.
Note the very refined welcome and Hervé's booming laugh. I recommend it!

The service was good and the atmosphere was perfect. However, the two piña coladas we ordered were nothing like piña coladas; they were almost like beer. Piña coladas without coconut or pineapple. Unbelievable! 😟
