I absolutely loved this place! The service was excellent—the staff was polite and attentive, and everything was served quickly, without a long wait. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy. Thank you to the entire team at Le Bœuf sur le Quai for such a warm welcome! From the moment we arrived, we felt the family atmosphere and the genuine smiles that make all the difference. We had the pleasure of enjoying absolutely delicious meat dishes, served in generous portions, and as if that weren't enough, the owner was kind enough to offer us seconds. A rare and thoughtful touch that was truly appreciated. Special mention for the mashed potatoes, comforting and flavorful, reminiscent of the best childhood meals… A real trip down memory lane. We've been several times and the meat is always very good. However, this time the service was far too slow: a one-hour wait for our main courses. We didn't even want to wait for dessert anymore.

Excellent meat, the ribeye steak with the marrow bone was incredible, and the two sirloin steaks for the ladies were superb. Special mention goes to the two servers (Louis and Pierre) who were very professional and attentive to their customers. Highly recommended.

28/04/2026: A very nice brasserie close to the train station, the products are beautifully prepared and the service is attentive!
26/04/2026: The empty restaurant surprised us, as my mother is used to seeing it packed. But we had a good meal. I personally ordered a potato crisp with egg and mushrooms as a starter (I had my two companions try it, and they also approved), followed by a pork tenderloin stuffed with onions and mustard sauce (the meat was tender and well-cooked). The only downside was the cold potatoes at the bottom of the bowl, with a few warm ones on top. For dessert, a delicious chocolate pear choux pastry was a very generous portion; I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chocolate cream, for once, wasn't too sweet, and the choux pastry dome was lightly caramelized and crispy. As for the wine, I didn't like the Saumur at all, but my mother's red Burgundy was good. The waiter was friendly.
