Despite the busy crowd on a Saturday evening, the young, motivated and helpful staff were able to find tables, take the orders, deliver my excellent savoye burger & local red in record time. And with a smile. Love this place! But pls. reserve...

A fantastic place in Morzine! I highly recommend it for lovers of traditional mountain cuisine, but not only that. The atmosphere is very pleasant, like a cozy chalet. The team is young and dynamic! Booking is strongly advised if you want to be sure of getting a table. A very enjoyable experience.

We had the le Grillon as part of a crystal ski food deal. Every evening the hosts were fantastic and told us what we were having for food- no choices. It was a pleasant surprise every evening. The description never did the food justice. Highly recommend. If you're feeling adventurous get them to pick something for you. FYI the eclairs ( stuffed with ice cream) are epic!

From the moment you walk in, the warm welcome and the new owner's smile put you right at ease. The atmosphere is friendly, and the tasteful decor makes you want to linger. As for the food, it's a real treat: authentic dishes. Every bite is a culinary journey, and the fresh ingredients are evident in every plate. The portions are generous, and the prices remain very reasonable for such quality. A huge congratulations to the whole team for this successful revival! Mixed review – potential, but not commensurate with the prices. Dinner on a Friday, group of 9. The overall impression is that this establishment is still finding its feet. The food is very inconsistent. Three pizzas were served undercooked, and the onion soup was lukewarm and sent back to the kitchen. The hot stone grills were decent, as were the Savoyard fondues with porcini mushrooms, and the hamburger was very good. The portions are generally adequate, without being particularly generous. The desserts, however, are expensive for rather small portions. The wine list is short and clearly overpriced: about 20% more expensive than the competition, with a minimum of around €35 ​​per bottle, which doesn't reflect the overall quality of the experience. The prices seem geared towards tourists rather than locals. A significant positive point: the service. Welcoming, pleasant, and professional, with immediate apologies and replacements for incorrect dishes. We were also seated at a pleasant table, which was much appreciated. Final bill: €360 for 9 people. At this price point, one expects impeccable cooking, dishes served hot, and a more accessible wine list. This is a deliberately encouraging review, given that it's the beginning of the season, but it's meant to be honest: there's potential, provided the prices and execution are brought up to standard.

We visited this restaurant over three years ago and were disappointed. Passing by this evening, we saw that there had been a change of ownership. We hadn't made a reservation (we weren't aware of the change in management). The manager still managed to find us a table, and we're very grateful for his warm welcome and kindness; he's someone who pays attention to every detail. We were served quickly and, to our surprise, the food was delicious! 👍 I highly recommend this restaurant; its setting is beautiful and the staff very pleasant.
