Le Jardin de Tana sur Noirmoutier-En-L'Ile

We stumbled upon this place and weren't disappointed. It was one of the best culinary experiences of our holiday on the island. There was a bit of a wait, admittedly, but the dishes were well worth it. The sweetbreads were excellent, served with cockles—a unique combination that worked beautifully. The Wagyu carpaccio was superb. And a big thumbs up for the cheese and dessert! The presentation was impeccable and the ingredients top-notch. If you have the time, go without hesitation!

Overall, we were disappointed, although the mussels were good, the pavlova decent, and the wine very pleasant. The sweetbreads didn't convince us; neither the taste nor the texture gave us the impression of actually eating them. The garnish was ordinary. The veal carpaccio was rather unremarkable, despite a somewhat pleasant pesto. The side dishes were unremarkable. We struggle to understand the Michelin star.

The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but I'd heard about the Fujima Oyster, so I decided to give it a try! The interior has a cozy atmosphere, and the waitress was smiling and pleasant. The famous oyster... A surprising mix of textures and flavors from the other side of the world! It's hard to explain, but it's definitely worth the trip! The hake fillet with coffee butter 🤔 What audacity and what a treat!!! To finish, the "basil cloud" with local strawberries—it's so beautiful you almost hesitate to taste it. It lives up to its name; it's incredibly light, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. As someone who only likes savory food, I was blown away! An EXCEPTIONAL lunch! Congratulations to the chef and his team—young people with audacity, and it's paying off! Impeccable service! I recommend this experience to the most curious among you; you won't regret it! 😉 I'd do it again!

A lovely time was had. The food was excellent (thank you to the chef)! A cozy, garden-like atmosphere. The location was quite peaceful in the evening. The only slight downside was the slow service (this isn't normal; they were short-staffed that day). Highly recommended!

The food is good, especially the lobster ravioli. However, the service is extremely inconsistent, with long wait times, some servers arriving mid-service, and some orders being forgotten. And when the waitress sends you to pay at the till, her colleague sends you back to the dining room to wait for the bill. Not great!

A truly excellent restaurant, a perfect balance of flavors, and original, expertly executed combinations. All this in a reasonably priced set menu (39 euros for a starter, main course, and dessert).
