A menu at 29.50 for starter, main course, dessert, our choice: foie gras, cassoulet, chocolate fondant..... to die for
We do not regret this choice of restaurant, we were seated in the quiet garden, sheltered from traffic.
Very pleasant welcome, smiling staff, efficient and fast.

Authentic restaurant in the tourist trap that Carcassonne is unfortunately becoming more and more. Very friendly waiters who gave us a spacious table to sit quietly with our dog on the garden terrace under the trees. The 29.50 menu is excellent, with foie gras and gésiers salad as first course, homemade cassoulet with duck as mains. The portions are large, great wine at prices we can only dream of in Belgium.

Restaurant as pleasant as ever, the service is fast and the quantities are generous while offering attractive prices.
We will highlight the presence of two menus, one at 22€ and another at 29€ which is much more gourmet, unfortunately increasingly rare.
I recommend you dine there if you visit this beautiful city!

In the middle of the Cité, where you actually have no expectations, we were very positively surprised. The salad with warm goat cheese is highly recommended and the cassoulet maison is great. Good and friendly service!

If you are looking for a non-touristy restaurant in the city of Carcassonne where you can eat a really good cassoulet, this is the place to go.
The manager and the servers are super friendly (thanks to Benjamin for recommending this restaurant to me... ;))
The prices are more than fair. A menu for less than 30 euros with a very generous starter, main course and dessert.
Example of my choices: foie gras as a starter, cassoulet and flavored ice cream of your choice)
With the aperitif, the wine and to finish a super good Irish coffee I got for 50 euros per head.
Congratulations to the team, the servers, the kitchen...
There is even an outdoor terrace if the weather permits.

FANTASTIC, don't stop going. The €29.90 menu is EXTRAORDINARY, very very good. The foie is to die for and the causolet, a typical dish, is very good, the canard slices are delicious. To top it off, the delicious dessert, something very similar to Catalan cream. There is a very nice garden to eat.
There is another menu for €22.90 that is surely also bad.
The guys who attended to us were very professional, they made the effort to speak a little in Spanish.

There are so many restaurants in the old city but the fixed price menu, shady location drew us in. The staff were super friendly and service was quick, possibly because we were one of the early diners. The food was super fresh and plenty of it though re the steak , english medium is french rare. The house wine...the rose' and white wine didn't look to different and didn't taste much different either but still good value

Excellent Resto,personnel fort sympathique, aucune attente,le repas très bien cuisiné et bien servi, le coin terrasse extérieure est très agréable,je recommande sans hésitation 😉
