Excellent couscous, pleasant service and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I arrived somewhat by chance (my initial idea was to try a nearby Portuguese restaurant, but I was put off by the prices of one and the lack of a menu outside the other). I chose the chicken couscous, which seemed the most appropriate for this very hot day, and I wasn't disappointed. The vegetables and broth were very flavorful, the semolina perfect, and the chicken was juicy, firm, and tender all at once (it's a real free-range chicken, you can tell, and the chef knows how to cook it). The broth is slightly spicy, not too much for me, although it surprised me a little at first (I'm used to couscous that's fragrant but not very spicy). And for those who like a bit of a kick, harissa is provided. The welcome was admittedly rather reserved at first, but that's quite common in the Paris region, and it became much warmer afterward. I enjoyed the music, a mix, it seemed to me, of Arabic classical, rai, and more recent tracks. If I have the chance to pass through the area again, I'll come back to maybe try a tagine.

A very good place, a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a very warm welcome. I had the opportunity to try a chicken tagine with lemon and olives. Delicious! My colleague had a couscous that was just as good. A great place we'll definitely remember. For dessert, we enjoyed some delicious oriental pastries with mint tea.

The couscous was edible, but the service was subpar. I didn't find the authentic Algerian atmosphere, and it was far from that of Kabylia. The tagine was a joke…
