A good place to taste local specialties! Very pleasant welcome and service! It's very good so I'm not going to say too much, I'll let you discover the restaurant and the dishes...

We were looking for a restaurant open on Sunday lunch that wasn't a chain, and as there isn't much choice, we tried our luck here... and what a nice surprise! The welcome is warm, and above all, all the dishes are homemade and really well done. As a starter, the foie gras and smoked trout were very good. For the main course, the pear steak was tender, perfectly cooked, and their truffade is one of the best we have tasted in Clermont. For dessert, the only downside is the frozen nougat, a little less sweet than we like (yet we don't run after sugar) and with too little candied fruit, but the chocolate cake (which is more of a smooth, and so much the better!) and the apple millefeuille were impeccable. The setting is original, the rooms being without natural light. This adds an atypical charm to the place. I only have one photo, sorry, I was too busy enjoying the moment!

Nous étions à la recherche d’un restaurant ouvert le dimanche midi qui ne soit pas une chaîne, et comme il n’y a pas beaucoup de choix, nous avons tenté notre chance ici… et quelle bonne surprise ! L’accueil est chaleureux, et surtout, tous les plats sont faits maison et vraiment bien réalisés. En entrée, le foie gras et la truite fumée étaient très bons. Pour le plat, le pavé de poire était fondant, parfaitement cuit, et leur truffade est l’une des meilleures que nous ayons goûtée à Clermont,. En dessert, seul petit bémol pour le nougat glacé, un peu moins sucré que ce que nous aimons (pourtant on ne court pas après le sucre) et avec trop peu de fruits confits, mais le moelleux au chocolat (qui est plus un coulant, et tant mieux !) et le millefeuille aux pommes étaient impeccables. Le cadre est original, les salles étant sans lumière naturelle. Cela ajoute un charme atypique au lieu. Je n’ai qu’une seule photo, sorry, j’étais trop occupé à profiter du moment !

We chose this restaurant by chance for our 50th wedding anniversary with our children. We were overwhelmed Intimate atmosphere in a small room Very pleasant and attentive boss. Traditional but excellent cuisine.. I recommend the veal head with extra gribiche sauce. Andouillette is great with parsley potatoes. The rest is also very good. As for the desserts...they are all to die for... Great restaurant definitely worth going to at least once..

Very good family meal (2 children and 2 adults) very good cuisine and for once the children have the same thing as the adults (reduced portions). We will surely come back.

We had a great time. It was delicious. The foie gras and its excellent bread, trout and lentils also very good as well as the roast st nectaire with very good charcuterie. Everything was of very high quality. The owner reconciled us with Auvergne wine.

Tasty and generous “local” cuisine as we like it and a very professional owner. We absolutely recommend!
