We were there on a Sunday and many restaurants were closed. We were happy to have found something and then very pleasantly surprised – a very nice owner and a great menu 🤩

A restaurant you absolutely MUST NOT MISS. If you want to try local specialties without going to a tourist trap, this is the place to go. Recommended by someone from the Tourist Office, we were definitely not disappointed. The dishes are classic, everything is homemade, and above all, local. An authenticity rarely found, both in the food and the service.
However, I advise you to book in advance because we arrived and there were only two seats left—lucky break, because we would have missed out on a fantastic place!

Everything is simple but good. You have to appreciate cheese. The service is attentive, and the desserts are homemade.
Be sure to book in advance, as the restaurant can fill up quickly.

We discovered this restaurant by chance during our vacation in the region. The exterior doesn't hint at the cozy, warm, and authentic atmosphere inside. We were there as a family and received a wonderful welcome and excellent service. There were so many thoughtful touches. And everything was delicious: the truffade, the desserts. In short, everything was perfect! We highly recommend it 😉

Near the Cathedral, on a pedestrian street, this authentic restaurant offers gastronomic specialties from the Auvergne region. A wonderful discovery, a very pleasant and secluded experience, refined and generous dishes, reasonable prices, and a well-curated wine list.

Restaurant located on a quiet side street in the city center.
Friendly welcome, the restaurant was full.
Local specialties, very generous portions (one dish is enough!).
There were four of us, and we ordered classic truffade, vegetarian truffade, vegetarian Saint-Nectaire cheese, and Saint-Nectaire cheese with charcuterie. No one could finish. The charcuterie and cheeses were of very good quality. Excellent value for money!
