I wanted to eat something simple and Alsatian. The Presskopf crudités and tarte flambée were excellent, homemade and delicious. They just needed a bit more beer selection; no wheat beer or beers from small Alsatian craft breweries, even though there's plenty of choice.

The snails are a must-try. The best in Alsace restaurants. Everything is homemade, even the tarte flambée is worth it. The wine is top-notch.

The room is dark. Apart from that, the atmosphere is great, the food delicious, and the staff lovely. The value for money is really excellent.

Located on a picturesque street, it boasts a friendly atmosphere, attractive decor, beautiful tables, and professional, very welcoming owners. The menu offers a wonderful selection of dishes, including delicious appetizers, lovely desserts, and a great wine list... all homemade and guaranteed fresh. I highly recommend it. We had a lovely time here! The tarte flambée were absolutely delicious, the service extremely attentive and the ambience is not only clean and neat but also typical Alsacien. Just what you want to experience in a town like Barr!
