Le Lido Plage Calvi sur Calvi

Had a nice long lazy lunch in the shade watching the sea. Had a really tasty pizza and generous green salad. Was delicious and would recommend. They also have sun loungers, I'd hoped they would have struck a deal with us on these as most of the day had passed, it was quiet and we had eaten lunch with them. But no! They still wanted the day rate of 40 euro each for them, so went elsewhere instead.

A wonderful discovery! The food was as delightful as the staff. We will definitely be back! Special mention for the Picante pizza and the beetroot carpaccio

I had spaghetti alle vongole. It wasn't on the menu, but I asked for it and they offered it to me. I forgot to ask the price, though. It was a very large portion, but only the spaghetti. The clams were okay. It tasted very buttery. If you like that sort of thing... I thought €33 was too expensive for the dish.

A very pretty bar located in the pine forest of Calvi, it is almost right on the water with the citadel of Calvi and the beautiful Corsican mountains as a backdrop.

Absolutely love at first sight! 🥰 Everything was more than perfect: a lovely welcome, an attentive team, impeccable service, a wonderful menu, and a magnificent setting. We spent the whole day there, relaxing on the sun loungers, feet in the water, facing the stunning citadel of Calvi… a true little slice of paradise ✨ We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! 🥰

I ate there twice this week: Wednesday lunch and Thursday evening (September 10th). The setting is obviously magnificent 🤩 on Calvi beach with a view of the citadel!! The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Respect! It's magnificent. The food is very good. We had fish: sole and John Dory, plus a plate of shrimp and fried cuttlefish to share. Delicious! The fish was perfectly filleted by the excellent waitress! The wine selection is made directly in front of the fridge for rosé and white. I would gladly return to this establishment with its very friendly and welcoming staff. 🤩🤩🤩

A quick evening, as the service was lightning fast, the main course was served when the aperitif was barely half finished, it was supposed to be an evening of Corsican songs but it was rather quite eclectic... Fortunately the grilled octopus dish was really good.

It's always been a pleasure for the past three years to come and relax and eat at the Lido. The place is fantastic and the staff are lovely. The food is always delicious, and so are the cocktails. We recommend it 100%! ✨
