The restaurant is upstairs, but there was no one to greet us. The menu is homemade, the food is a bit greasy, and the price was out of our budget for what it was. We tried it, but we won't be back.

A wonderful experience and a great discovery in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Choosing between the set menu and à la carte options was difficult, as the selection was generous and varied. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The portions were substantial, and the €50 set menu was perfectly adequate for us one evening. The wine list offered a wide range of choices with reasonable prices, making it a great opportunity to indulge in both wine and food. Kudos and thanks to the maître d'hôtel and his partner, who make a wonderful team. We'll be back...😉

It's a 98/100! Worthy of a Parisian palace restaurant. Bravo to the chefs! 🤩 The service was impeccable. THANK YOU. -1 point for a poorly adjusted spotlight. -1 point for the tables being a little too close together, BUT success certainly requires a certain number of covers. We had a wonderful meal, we will recommend it, and we will be back for another treat.

We were in Lille for the holidays, and we stumbled upon it quite by chance—what a wonderful surprise! The meal was excellent from start to finish; the dishes were truly prepared with care, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. A special bonus was the service, with a very kind and helpful waiter—a truly gastronomic experience.

A wonderful fine dining experience in Lille. Book ahead. My partner and I spent a very enjoyable evening here. The food and wine was delicious and our waiter was very attentive and professional. Dining as it should be. Well done and we will be back!

The dishes are well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented, using high-quality ingredients that come through in the flavors. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant dinner or a get-together with friends. The service is attentive and efficient, even when the restaurant is busy. Overall, I'm very happy with my visits and it's a reliable place I'd gladly return to.
07/02/2026: From the moment we arrived until the end of the meal, everything was perfect. The flavors were all there, from the appetizer to the dessert... I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chef came to greet his guests. The staff was very pleasant, without being intrusive. I highly recommend QUAI 38.
