Le Mademoiselle sur Bastia

We received a very warm welcome from the owner, and then from the young waitress inside the restaurant. The setting is magnificent (a former chapel). We opted for the daily special: fillet of pollack with vegetables and sweet potato purée, accompanied by a glass of Clos Colombo. To finish, we chose from the many desserts the chocolate fondant with a scoop of ice cream on a bed of whipped cream (absolutely divine). Everything delighted us: the setting, the welcome, the quality of the food, and the very professional and attentive service. A must-try in Bastia.

Absolutely fantastic! I love this restaurant and go there almost every time I'm in Bastia. The setting is exceptional and creates a very warm atmosphere, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. Nothing to complain about! 👌

Lovely restaurant, beautiful setting, and friendly, responsive staff. We were celebrating an 80th birthday, and the food and drinks arrived on time. The food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. It was perfect, I highly recommend it :)

A magnificent place in Bastia. Undoubtedly the most beautiful establishment in Bastia. Everything is remarkable… Jean-Yves, the owner, is a character you have to meet! 😂 😂 Don't miss it!

First off: we were thrilled to find open restaurants in Bastia after three weeks in Corsica, yeah! We were a little apprehensive, as some of the reviews were quite adventurous, but we decided to take the plunge. And we were very pleased. The service was excellent and very attentive, the wine recommendation was great, and the appetizer (homemade foie gras) and dessert were fantastic. The medium-rare beef was cooked to perfection, and the foie gras sauce was divine. The octopus could have been better and seasoned more interestingly. We'd love to come back again.
