I went to this restaurant with my husband and we loved it. The food is classic French and the atmosphere has a very traditional charm. Everything was exquisite: we shared a delicious foie gras and I ordered chicken with mushrooms in puff pastry, which was spectacular. The wine was excellent, but what I liked most was the service: attentive, friendly, and very professional. Highly recommended.

Typical and traditional French brasserie located in the heart of Le Puy-en-Velay. Timeless French classics on the menu and a décor that hasn’t lost its charm. The brasserie is nearly 90 years old and still carries the same authentic vibe. Good, consistent service that suits the place perfectly. Recommended!

My wife and I ate at the Majestic for lunch and dinner, and since the new owners took over recently, the difference is striking. Lunch is excellent: hot, well-prepared dishes, nothing to complain about, very tasty, excellent. However, in the evening, the food is nowhere near the same standard as lunch. We even had to send back two cold dishes, which was very disappointing. You can really tell that the evening menu has struggled to keep up since the change of ownership. Fortunately, the servers are still excellent, and the owner is very welcoming. It's a shame the quality of the evening service isn't the same, because the restaurant has real potential.

The brasserie is both simple and chic, and the service is impeccable. The burgers and vol-au-vents are very good! Good value for money.
