An exceptional stay in this superb, charming manor house. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. The decor is cozy and warm; we immediately felt right at home. The breakfast is homemade with delicious local products. We lingered in the lounge; it felt almost like home, only better. Magnificent grounds, a heated pool in the summer, a gym, and a hammam open year-round: everything is designed for comfort and relaxation. A chic and welcoming atmosphere—10/10, I highly recommend it!

It was on the N20 in Tarascon-sur-Ariège (09) that we stopped at the charming hotel and its restaurant, temporarily closed, at MANOIR D'AGNES chez Philippe. The welcome was as warm as the kindness and competence of the owner, who offers quality service in an exceptional setting. The atmosphere is relaxing. The hotel is tastefully decorated for the enjoyment of its guests. Breakfast is served in a pleasant room, there is ample private parking, and motorcyclists and tourists with motorcycles are welcome. Ideally located for those traveling through the Pyrenees. A historic building, renovated with beautifully preserved architecture. A warm welcome from the host, who, if you ask, might even tell you the story behind the collections of all sorts of objects that adorn his charming home... The room is simple but clean and functional (quiet despite facing the street). A generous breakfast with fresh products is included. Close to the town center and restaurants overlooking the Ariège River. Private parking is available on the premises.
