Nice quiet place. Very pleasant and lively town of Bagnoles de l'Orne, 5 minutes from the hotel. Welcoming and smiling staff. Spacious and comfortable room. Delicious meal, with mushrooms from appetizers to sweets Very nice breakfast buffet. A great experience to repeat.

A magnificent hotel in the heart of Normandy. If you are looking for tranquility this is your place. 4-star accommodation, not accessible for wheelchairs everywhere but in a good part of the rooms. The rooms in the "pavellons de bois", which is where we stayed, are magnificent, well cared for down to the last detail, clean and with views of the Norman fields. The hotel's service and food are spectacular, breakfasts with varied homemade pastries. Mixelin star lunch with mushroom prominently featured and very attentive service. From the area you can cycle along the GR that connects Paris with Mont Saint-Michel and you have very beautiful villages to visit. Also not too far away are visits to Bayeux, Honfleur, Calais, Rouen, and the landing beaches. In short, a hotel for long or short stays but always to enjoy. The price is high but the experience is worth it. By the way, pets are allowed with a supplement and they have a garage to store bikes.

Very nice establishment, the hotel is really pleasant with its large garden, its swimming pool and its quiet geographical location although very close to Bagnoles. The restaurant fully deserves its reputation. We had a very pleasant stay there and will come back. A big thank you to the whole team for their kindness and efficiency.

It was in the magnificent restaurant that we stopped and bought ceramic fruits which we always enjoy looking at. The chef is especially crazy about the mushrooms from his forest and he gets incredible flavors from them, even in the desserts. He is also an artist in the presentation of his dishes which is sublime. The right place to relax between two visits to this superb region

We expected and got a superb meal but additionally the staff were amazing. Very attentive and friendly they really knew the menu and wines and were able to describe and propose according to one’s taste.

Nous avons passé tout week-end au Manoir du Lys. Tout dans cette maison participe de créer un souvenir mémorable: accueil où plusieurs membres du personnel viennent jusqu’à notre véhicule nous aider à décharger les vélos (le Manoir est un excellent lieu de départ pour des ballades cyclistes dans l’Orne; villages et forêt d’Andaine), au confort chaleureux du Manoir (piscines intérieure & extérieure que vous aurez plaisir à rejoindre en peignoir depuis votre chambre), repas (nous y reviendrons), et ambiance générale (état d’esprit de cette maison familiale, du personnel jeune et très investi, aux patrons). Comment ne pas consacrer un paragraphe entier à la gastronomie du Manoir. Le chef étoilé Franck Quinton et sa brigade savent étonner nos papilles et nous faire partager leur amour du champignon. La carte des vins tenue par le sommelier Yvon Lebailly (distingué récemment par le Gault) est sans pareille, les prix particulièrement bien placés et son conseil tellement juste! Sans compter que c’est toujours un plaisir de discuter avec lui pendant et en marge du repas. Ce Manoir est tout une expérience. Si vous ne le connaissez pas, courez-y.
