We stopped here quite by chance on our way back to Bordeaux, as we were looking for a brasserie with continuous service, without success. This brasserie doesn't operate that way, but they kindly offered to make us croque-monsieurs. Beautifully presented, with good country bread and a small, well-seasoned salad, perfect. I should add that the welcome was warm, the service excellent, and the decor understated and elegant. Thank you to them, and of course, I recommend it.

The experience was mixed, oscillating between very pleasant service and ambiance, and a truly disproportionate price for what was offered. Positive Points: The atmosphere and setting are undoubtedly this café's greatest strengths. The place is warm, well-decorated, and perfect for a quiet break. The staff was charming, smiling, and efficient. No complaints about the welcome or the service. Negative Points: The price is frankly excessive. Paying €11 for a coffee, a hot chocolate, and two croissants is far too expensive, even for this type of establishment. For such a price, one expects impeccable quality. Unfortunately, the two croissants weren't fresh, and the coffee wasn't great either, which is a major double disappointment. In short, if you're looking for a friendly place where you'll be served with a smile, this is the ideal spot. However, be prepared to pay a high price, and don't necessarily expect impeccable quality from the products consumed.

Excellent lunch at Marchal. Perfect welcome. Special mention for the scallops, excellent, well-presented, and perfectly cooked. The service is professional and efficient. I highly recommend it.
