Fifty years of history! We discovered this restaurant by chance last year after an hour of searching. And yes, it's a great place to avoid the touristy area. And above all, the owners are very friendly. You'll recognize us. Last time, we were accompanied by a little monkey who climbed the curtains.

An institution that never gets old! "A true gem in the Les Halles district. Le Mastroquet has lived up to its reputation as a Tours institution for 50 years. The welcome is particularly warm and the service, provided by an efficient and friendly team of women, is impeccable. As for the atmosphere, we appreciated the table layout, which allows for intimate conversations, as well as the cozy setting adorned with superb watercolors by a local artist. On the plate, the promise of fresh, local ingredients is kept: refined, generous, and flavorful cuisine. Special mention goes to the wine list and the expert advice of the sommelier, who knows his stuff perfectly. Excellent value for money for a gastronomic experience of this caliber. We felt extremely comfortable there!"

I discovered this restaurant with a friend quite by chance, and frankly, I thought it was fantastic. The dishes were beautifully presented, genuinely delicious, and very reasonably priced. The service was very pleasant, provided by a very experienced woman. Now that I know about it, I'll gladly return... and with full knowledge of what I'm getting :)

Looking for a delicious meal in a friendly, family atmosphere? Head to Le Mastroquet. The foie gras is succulent, the meat tender, and the desserts are decadent. You'll find all generations at this restaurant. The owners love dogs and even let us bring our Shiba Inu at the last minute. They have two dogs themselves. Go without hesitation!

A wonderful surprise awaited us at the Tours market. A small restaurant with authentic charm and an extremely professional and engaging staff. And what can I say about the food! From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious, traditional, made with remarkably high-quality ingredients, and prepared with a generous and experienced hand. You can taste the experience and love of fine dining in this little gem that is Le Mastroquet.

Hello everyone, We had lunch at this establishment on February 1st, 2026. The welcome was outstanding, the atmosphere wonderful, ideal for a truly magnificent meal – a culinary journey! The flavors were truly exceptional. The owner is a master of traditional cuisine, putting his heart and soul into his dishes; you can clearly see the family spirit.
